Jackson, Nebritta Brown

Nebritta Brown Jackson, 87, of the Shiloh community in Pulaski county, passed away Friday January 4, 2013, in the Lewis Gale Hospital, Pulaski. Born in Elbert, W.Va. January 19, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Herman Henry Brown and Blanche Virginia Rector Brown. She was also preceded in death by a son, James Kermit Jackson. She was a current member of the Shiloh Christian Church and was a former member of the Draper Methodist Church. Surviving are her children and spouses, John and Kim Jackson, Bluefield, W.Va., Joseph Jackson, Nashville, Tenn., Dean and Carol Jackson, Andy Jackson, Judy (Hughes) and Larry Stewart, Nannette and Todd Arnold, all of Pulaski, Gloria and Charles Crabtree, of Mt. Airy, N.C.; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister and spouse, Jennie Lou and Butch Windle, of Lynchburg; sisters-in-law, Lois Jackson, Pat Dishon. The family will receive friends Sunday January 6, 2013, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, with a funeral service following at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Rorrer and the Rev. Ernie Chinault officiating. Burial will be Monday morning at 10 a.m. in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
