Thornton, Calvin Eugene

Calvin Eugene Thornton, 71, of Dublin, died on Sunday, December 23, 2012, in the Radford Health & Rehab Center. He was born in Pulaski County on November 24, 1941, and was the son of the late John Dave Thornton and Dorothy Phibbs Thornton. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Eldridge Thornton; and by a sister, Barbara Nell Reiff. Surviving are sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Al Wyrick; brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter and Dolores Thornton, John Ronald and Kunyo Thornton, Harvey Edwin and Barbara Thornton, and Cecil Thornton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at noon on Friday, December 28, 2012, from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski. Burial will follow in the Mountain View United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pulaski County.
