Simms, Dorothy Pugh

Dorothy Pugh Simms, 88, of Radford, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012. She was a member of the Radford Worship Center and retired from both Radford University and Radford City Schools after working in the cafeterias for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Fuqua “Steve” Simms. Survivors include her daughter, Karen Simms Walters and her son, Robert “Bob” Simms, both of Christiansburg, and four grandchildren, Stacy Simms, Preston Simms, Ethan Walters and Aaron Walters. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Dr. Hal Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
