Julius Iten, age 88 of Montvale, Virginia, formerly of Elmont, New York, died after a long battle with Alzheimer’s passed away on Friday November 9, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emmy Bissegger Iten. Julius is survived by his son Peter Iten and his wife Mary Pat of Long Beach, New York and daughter Doris Etzel and her husband Paul of Pulaski. Also survived by four grandchildren, Gregory, Jason, Brian, and Lauren Etzel. Visitation was held Saturday at Seagle Funeral Home in Pulaski. A graveside funeral service will be held Monday November 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Terrie L. Sternberg officiating.
