Herman E. (Buddy) Denton, 89, of Christiansburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Radford Nursing & Rehab. He was preceded in death by one son, David L. Denton; and parents, Charlie E. and Rosa Denton, of Lynchburg. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Janie W. Denton; son, Willard E. Denton, both of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Chris (Lori) Denton, of Richmond, Stacey (Matthew) Sutphin, of Snowville, David Mark (Kelly) Denton, of Front Royal, and Roger and Nancy Beasley, of Hillsville; and great-grandchildren, Sydni Denton, Taylor Sutphin, David Denton, Dakota Denton and Dustin Denton. The family will have a Graveside Service at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2012, at Sunset Cemetery with Pastor Neal Woods officiating.
