White, Ervin Wayne

Ervin Wayne White, 76, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mason and Lola Clayton White; and a sister, Martha Berry. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Roberta (Bobbie) White; daughters and sons-in-laws, Gwyn and David Ferguson, Becky and Joe Odum, and Melanie and Bob Lowe; grandchildren, Melissa Ferguson, Shannan Odum, Amanda Odum, Erin Cabrera, William Dowdy, Thomas Dowdy, and Jessica Dowdy; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Cabrera, Ethan Cabrera, Micha Cadet, and Jason Dowdy; and sisters, Geraldine Hall and Lois White. Ervin loved people, and loved to draw and paint. His goal was to teach people to love math. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 11, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at DeVilbiss Funeral Home. A Celebration of Ervin’s Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2012, at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Paul Lane officiating. Interment will follow at West View Cemetery.
