Matthew Lawrence Merchant, 45, of Floyd, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Merchant; parents, Larry and Cherie Merchant; son, Dustin Moore; sister, Laura Jane Adams; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Brenda and Jimmy Martin; special aunt, Janet Morris; several cousins. He was a loving uncle to three wonderful nephews, Shane, Wayne, and Owen Martin. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at Topeco Cemetery with the Rev.
