Lovern, Clifton Wayne (Birdy)

Clifton Wayne (Birdy) Lovern, 50, of Blacksburg, died, Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Lewis Gale Hospital Montgomery. He was born in Blacksburg, on March 15, 1962. He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Lovern, and nephew, Daniel Harney. He is survived by his mother, Frances Martin Lovern; sisters and brother-in-law, Shirley and Eddie Nester, Elizabeth Twiggs; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald Lovern, Roger and Jennifer Lovern, Calvin and Kim Lovern; nieces, Felicia Lovern and Ashley Nester; great-niece, Abigal Lovern; great-nephew, Matthew Hall; special friend, Richard Brumfield. Graveside Service will be conducted Monday, October 1, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the North Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. Monday at the McCoy Funeral Home.
