Dickson, Angeline Polozzola (Betty)

Angeline Polozzola (Betty) Dickson, 88, of Christiansburg, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dare Woodrow Dickson; and her son, Dale Patrick Dickson. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy D. and Gene Heslep, Kathy D. Dowdy; son, Doug W. and Barbara Dickson; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and close friends, Martha Thornton and Jada Barber. She was a member of Belmont Christian Church, and also loved her second church family, Dr. John Collins and Seneca Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 27, 2012, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Belmont Christian Church, Dominion Drive, Christiansburg. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2012, at Belmont Christian Church, with the Rev. Jerry Dowdy officiating. Interment will follow in Belmont Cemetery.
