Burton, Mary Bell East

Mary Bell East Burton, of Dublin, went to be with her Lord on September 21, 2012, at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by parents, four brothers, one sister, husbands, William “Gene” Burton and Robert Raymond Collins, and daughter, Barbara O’Dell. She is survived by her children, Lorraine and Paul Wright, Pulaski; Danny and Bobby Burton, Shelby, N.C.; Larry and Betsy Burton, Pulaski; Carolyn and Tommy Davis, Pulaski; Kay and Rusty Price, Pulaski; Caddell and Yonna Burton, Dublin; Randy and Teresa Burton, Christiansburg; Donna and Greg East, Pulaski; sisters, Frances Talbert, Dallas Vines, Nancy Viars, Ruby Richardson. Also included are 27 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren and special family friends, Tom and Glenna Linkous and Family. The family would also like to give special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Bart Williams and the wonderful staff of Highlands Ridge Rehab Center. The family will be receiving friends at Fairlawn Church of God, where she was a lifetime member, Sunday, September 23, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 24, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Fairlawn Church of God, with Pastor Derick Burton (grandson), Pastor Terry Bowden, Pastor Eddie Dalton, and Bishop Marcus Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will also be receiving friends at the home of Caddell and Yonna Burton.
