Sanchez,, Rafael Antonio (Tony)

Rafael Antonio (Tony) Sanchez, left this earth surrounded by family and friends on August 18, 2012, after a 15 month battle with gastric cancer. He arrived from El Salvador in 1974 to pursue the “American Dream.” His Guardian Angel, Oncologist Harry McCoy, did an amazing deed in helping him medically and humanly to have a good quality of life and coordinated his final wish to expire at home. Surviving is his wife, Ana Judith; son, Jonathan Antonio; daughter, Karina Annette Sanchez-Davis; son-in-law, Jesse Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends. The Catholic Prayer Vigil was celebrated on Sunday, August 19, 2012. Solemn Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at a date to be announced.
