Harrell, Bernice Weeks

Bernice Weeks Harrell, 85 of the Poplar Hill Community, Pearisburg, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 26, 2012 at Riverview Nursing Home. She was born on June 29, 1927 at Oakvale, W.Va. the daughter of the late William Arthur and Florence Neely Weeks. Also preceded in death by her devoted husband, Elmer E. Harrell and nine brothers and sisters. She was a member of French’s Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church where she leaves many dear and loving friends. She is survived by her son, Mike Harrell and his wife Tammy and her granddaughter, Emily. She is also survived by two brothers, Charles Weeks, William Weeks; and several nieces; and nephews. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate with the Rev. Billy Akers officiating. Burial in the Appalachian Conference Pentecostal Holiness Cemetery, Dublin. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 27, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
