Epperly, Paul Preston
Paul Preston Epperly, 80, of Christiansburg, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2007 at the Radford Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was the retired owner and operator of Epperly’s Small Engine and Epperly’s Restaurant. He was of the Methodist faith being very active in many Methodist Churches most recently Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Hazel Epperly; sons, David Epperly and Sammy Epperly. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 60 years, Frances Epperly; daughter, Pat Robinson; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Epperly; grandchildren, Teresa Barnett and husband, Richard, Samuel Epperly and wife, Melissa, Roxann Norford and Dawn Rowland; three greatgrandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Mary Epperly and Jerry and Ramona Epperly; aunt, Mary Epperly; many other special brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church with the Rev. Donna Sharp, assisted by the Rev. Raymond Kelley and the Rev. Mickey White. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
