Nellie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who loved her family, her church, and her friends. She was a very kind and gentle person who affected the lives of many. As a homemaker she enjoyed playing cards and guitar, sewing, knitting, quilting, and baking delicious pies and cakes. A long-time member of Memorial Baptist Church, Nellie loved her Sunday school class, choir cantatas and the hand-bell choir, which she joyfully played in several years. We are deeply grateful to the staff of Salem Terrace at Harrogate and Gentle Shepherd Hospice for their kindness, loving care and support.
