Graves, Ruth Francis
Ruth Francis Graves, 70, of Blacksburg, died Saturday, August 18, 2012, at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. She was born in Rosell, N.J. on May 30, 1942 to the late Chumcy M. and Ruth Francis DePew. She was also predeceased by a brother, Carey DePew. Ruthie retired from Montgomery Regional Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Johnie Kelly Graves; son and daughter-in-law, Kenton and Kathy Killor, of Sterling; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Angie and Jim Riegel, stepson and daughter-in-law, Keith and Terry Graves, Christiansburg; grandchildren, Justin and Johnny Graves, Aaron and Jordan Riegel, John Daniel and Meagan Killor, and Jason; sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Ross Delvca, of Ford, N.J.; brother and sister-in-law, Calvin and Janette DePew, of New Jersey; sisters-in-law, Doris Baker, Mary Jane Surface, Patty DePew; two aunts, Vivian Long and Catherine Caldwell; uncle, Carl Graves; one special niece, Kimberly Nandala and six other nieces; two special nephews, Frankie Delvca and Mike Delvca, and four other nephews; also her church family and many friends she worked with at Montgomery Regional Hospital; special friend, Amy Rakes. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmie Lee Price and the Rev. Keith Graves officiating. Interment will follow in the Price Family Cemetery, Sunnyside, Va. Friends may call anytime after noon Monday, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
