Whorley, Kenneth Gene

Kenneth Gene Whorley, age 75 of Pulaski died Tuesday August 7, 2012. He was born on May 11, 1937 and was the son of the late Elizabeth Martha Millner Whorley and Charles Edward Whorley. He was a retired professional meat cutter for Food Lion, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Cressell Whorley, and a grandson, Micheal Dooley. He is survived by a son: Kenneth (David) Whorley and his wife Christine of Pulaski Co.: a daughter; Ann W. Dooley Wiseman of Pulaski: a sister; Catherine Faye Houston of Richmond: brothers; Raymond Whorley of Clifton Forge, and Charles Whorley of Bedford. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Katy Medley, Jacob Ward, and David Joseph Whorley. Funeral services will be held Friday 2:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Mable Caudill officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
