Bralley Jr., Roy Jefferson
Roy Jefferson Bralley Jr., 83, of Dublin, died on Sunday, July 29, 2012, at his home. He was born in Wythe County, Va., on May 5, 1929, and was the son of the late Roy J. Bralley Sr. and Annie Forrest Bralley. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Annie Ellen Clark Bralley; by his siblings, Frank (John) Bralley, Marcelle (Todd) Bralley and Patsy Bralley Reese; and by two great-grandsons, Adam Carter Bralley and Aaron Mitchell Bralley. Mr. Bralley retired from Klopman Mills with 36 years of service and went on to continue his working career for 10 years as a security officer for Volvo Truck Plant in Dublin. Surviving are sons, Roger Alan Bralley, and Larry Wayne Bralley and his wife, Sherri; grandsons, John Wayne Bralley and his wife, Jennifer, Christopher (Chris) Alan Woodyard, Jared Ian Bralley, and Nicholas (Nick) Alexander Bralley; granddaughter, Anita Beth England and her husband, Rodney; great- grandchildren, Kaitlyn Paige England, Caleb Isaac England, and Eliza Hope Bralley; and sisters, Virginia Bralley Anderson and Emma Bralley Taylor. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2012, from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be held on Tuesday evening, July 31, 2012, at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va., 540-980-2600.
