Bushong, Christopher Harman “Boosh”

Christopher Harman “Boosh” Bushong, 43, of Richmond, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 in a Richmond hospital. He was born on April 20, 1969 in Radford, and was preceded in death by his father, Charles L. “Weedie” Bushong; his maternal grandmother, Laura Harman Seagle; his paternal grandparents, Miller A. Bushong, Sr. and Margaret Bushong; and his uncle Cloyd DuVal Seagle, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Mary Bushong; his daughters, Catheryne Gambill and Madison Bushong; his mother, Ruth Seagle Bushong; his brother, Charles Lee Bushong, Jr. and Angela Kennedy; his mother-in-law, Karen Graham; his maternal grandfather, Cloyd DuVal Seagle; his uncle, Thomas M. Seagle II; his great-aunt, Betsy Dent; his uncle, Miller A. Bushong, Jr. and wife Karin; and his cousins, Jeremiah Seagle and wife Jamie, Thomas M. Seagle and fiancé Tonya Steffens, Molly Hayworth, and Miller A. Bushong, III. Raised in Pulaski, Chris was a 1987 graduate of Pulaski County High School and a 1991 graduate of the University of Richmond. Chris enjoyed spending time with his family, volunteering for the American Heart Association and golfing. Chris was employed as a State Farm Insurance agent. Loved by many, he will be missed by all. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 pm., Sunday, July 29, 2012 followed by a memorial service to begin at 3:00 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 West Broad Street, Glen Allen, Va.
