Carr, Randolph Preston (Randy)

Randolph Preston (Randy) Carr, 57, of Pulaski, died Friday, July 20, 2012, from the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Radford on November 5, 1954 and was the son of the late Charlie M. Carr. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Constance Carr and his half sister, Pearl Horton. He was a former employee of Care Plus Medical of Pulaski. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Mindy Carr, Roanoke; the pride and joy of his life, his grandson, Landry Carr, Roanoke; mother, Georgia S. Carr, Pulaski; sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Brian Richardson, Pulaski; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Robyn Carr, Richmond; best friend, Jay Turner, Pulaski; half brothers, Jimmy Carr, Northern Va. and Mike Carr, Hudson, N.C.; and half sister, Helen Guynn, Pulaski. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Monday from the Stevens Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be made to the American Cancer Society , 2840 Electric Rd., Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA. 24018.
