Rakes, Randolph “Randy” C.

Randy C. Rakes, 60, of Pulaski, peacefully passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 at his home. Born February 3, 1952 in Pulaski County, he was the son of Violet Mabry Rakes and the late Sidney Eldridge Rakes. He was employed at Volvo with over 28 years of service. He was a member of the UAW Local #2069. He is survived by his mother, Violet Mabry Rakes; daughter, Lori Rakes Church and husband, Robert Church; son, Matthew Rakes; grandson , Trevor Kessinger; brother, Sidney Roger Rakes and wife, Mary; sisters , Evelyn Foley, Carolyn Johnston, Mary Ware and husband, Joe; nieces, Angie Goad, Emily Snapp; nephews , Kevin Rakes, Donnie Rakes and Dougie Johnston; and special friend , Rosemary Caves. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Sunday evening at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski, with the Rev. Audie Arnold officiating.
