Warren Jay (Skip) Ramsey, 44, of Pulaski, died Tuesday July 17, 2012, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 28, 1967, in Lexington, and was the son of the late Julia Clark Ramsey and Harry Ramsey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Becky Ramsey, and two brothers, Berley Clark and Elijah (Bounty) Ramsey. He is survived by two daughters, Paige Cook, of Pulaski, and Jayla Ramsey of Pulaski; former wife, Joshlen Ramsey, of Pulaski; two brothers, Clearance (Bubba) Ramsey, of Dublin and Denny (Jack) Ramsey, of Nelson County; five sisters, Hazel Patterson, of Richmond, Priscilla Riddle, of Dublin, Lisa Cash, of Dublin, Brenda Ramsey, of Dublin, and Ronda Ramsey, of Buena Vista. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Madalyn Cook, and Britton Ramsey, many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2012, at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Randall Lawrence officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 until 7 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
