Wesley Edward Hill Jr., 64, of Blacksburg, died Thursday, July 5, 2012, at his home. He was born in Christiansburg August 26, 1947, to the late Wesley Edward Sr. and Elizabeth Coe Hill. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Albert (Dutch) Miller Jr. He is survived by his sister, Joyce Whitfield, of Blacksburg; three nieces, Stacey Whitfield, Lauren Whitfield, Jodi Smith and husband, Kris; three great-nieces; two great-nephews. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2012, in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin with the Rev. Reggie Tuck officiating. Wesley’s family invites friends to join them Sunday, July 8, 2012, at PK’s Restaurant in Blacksburg for a Celebration of Life from 2 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Blacksburg Rescue Squad, 200 Progress Street, Blacksburg, VA 24060.
