Turman, Joey Andrew

Joey Andrew Turman, age 56 of New Castle died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at his home. He was born in Radford, VA on June 12, 1956 and was preceded in death by his mother Dorthy “Dot” Shrewsberry Turman and a sister Iris Nadene. Joey was a former employee of the Radford Arsenal. He is survived by his Wife: Judith “Judy” Turman, of New Castle, Father: Roscoe N. Turman of Prices Fork. Brothers and Sisters-In-Law Dale and Barbara Turman of St. Charles, MO; Charles and Diane Turman of Boones Mill. Sons and Daughter-In-Law Tim and Josie Turman of Johns Creek, Travis A Turman of Craig Co., Tommy A. Turman of Newport. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday July 7, 2012 at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Wertz. Interment will follow in the Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg, VA. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Friday evening and from 9:00 am until service time at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Upper Craigs Creek Vol. Fire Dept.
