Turman, Edith Eloise

Edith Eloise Turman, 93, of Willis, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, James A. Bond and Virginia Quesenberry Bond; and her husband, John M. Turman. She is survived by her daughters, Nellie A. Vass and husband, Brad, Glenna T. Terry, Lena T. Gray; grandsons, Duane L. Gray and wife, Cindy, Marcus H. Terry and wife, Mary Ann; granddaughters, Rhonda V. Carson and husband, Ed, Jennifer T. Coleman and husband, Jon, Sherry V. Hilbert and husband, Jerry, Carla T. Horton and husband Tony, Ramona G. Holt and husband, Allen, Gina T. Fleming and husband Frank; 13 great-grandchildren; six great- great-grandchildren; brother, Reif A. Bond and wife, Connie; and sister, Odetta B. Terry. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, with Elder Thomas Pegram officiating. Interment to follow in the William Quesenberry Cemetery, Shady Grove Road. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at the funeral home.
