Lindsey, Glenda Vaughn

Glenda Vaughn Lindsey, 42, of Pearisburg passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Tuesday, June, 2012. She was born in Pulaski on August 14, 1969, and was the daughter of Luther and Hazel Brunk Vaughn. Glenda was an employee of Walmart Stores in Pearisburg and Fairlawn for 11 years. She was an avid cook, and loved making crafts. A loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and sister, she will be dearly missed by her family and many special friends. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 17 years, Dwayne Lindsey, of Pearisburg; one son, Gary Lee Gallimore and wife, Amy and their daughter, Scarlette, of Pulaski; two daughters, Cary Smith and husband, Matt and their son, Westen Smith, of Dublin, and Amber Hall, of Pilot; two sisters, Debbie Vaughn, of Little Creek, and Alice Gallimore and husband, Gary, of Dublin; a brother, Ricky Vaughn and wife, Debbie, of Little Creek; Glenda’s father-in-law, Earl Lindsey; mother-in-law, Faye Lindsey, both of Narrows; a sister-in-law, Lisa Lindsey Rice and husband, Tommy, of Pembroke; nieces and nephews, Anthony Wright, of Pulaski, Rick Vaughn, of Little Creek, Ashley Foutz, of Purcellville, Emily Vaughn, of Little Creek, Breanna Rice, Megan Rice, and Thomas Rice, all of Pembroke; and a special cousin, Joe Brunk and wife, April, of Pembroke. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012, in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows, with Pastor Franklin Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park.
