Noonan, Sidney Matthew

Sidney Matthew Noonan, 64, of Blacksburg, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at his home. He was born in Montgomery County on December 4, 1947, to the late Marshall and Dorothy Jones Noonan. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Gail Noonan. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Marcie and Willie Dove, Cindy Lorrine Noonan, son, Adam Matthew Noonan, all of Blacksburg; grandchild, Norman Ray Dove, Blacksburg; sisters, Elsie Cline, of Montgomery County, Frances Foley, Fairmont, N.C., Marsha Smith, Vinton, Andra Donley, Ridgeway; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2012, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, with the Dr. Scott Souther officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
