Viers, Ernest Robert

Ernest Robert Viers, 74, of Radford passed away Wednesday May 2, 2012. He was a man who loved God, his family and was a member of Snowville Baptist Church. He had retired from Radford Pipe Shop after 32 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest R. and Edna T. Viers; mother and father-in-law, Lee and Dorothy Owens; brother-in-laws, Richard Owens and Eldon Owens. Left behind to love and miss him are his wife, Margaret Owens Viers; sons, Robert (Bobby) Lee Sr. and spouse Diane Viers, Roger Dale Viers and friend Judy Gray; grandson, Robert (Robbie) Lee Jr. and spouse Emily Viers; sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Victor Duncan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Buddy and Peggy Owens, Freddie and Diana Owens, Rickey and Doris Owens, Shirley and Tommy Weaver; several nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday May 5, 2012, at DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Neil Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Turpin Cemetery, Radford.
