Wimmer, Robert Lee

Robert Lee Wimmer, 34, of Eggleston and Pulaski, departed this life Monday evening, May 1, 2012, at Pulaski Community Hospital in Pulaski after a short illness. Born in Montgomery County on November 10, 1977, he was a son of Donald Lee and Donna Jean Covill Wimmer of Eggleston. He was employed with Dish Network in Christiansburg in Quality Assurance and was a former member of Eggleston United Methodist Church and the Eggleston Volunteer Fire Dept. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Laura P. Wimmer; his daughters, Rebecca Dawn Harmon, Emily Grace Wimmer, and Kennedy Jean Wimmer, of the home; his parents, Donald Lee and Donna Covill Wimmer, of Eggleston; his brother, Shawn C. Wimmer, of Dublin; his mother-in-law, Donna McCoy-Musselman and her husband, William, of Blacksburg. Funeral services will be conducted Friday evening at 7 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with the Rev Mike Watson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5 until 7 p.m. before the services. The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to defray the funeral expenses or for his daughters education trust.
