Sutphin, Alfred Otis

Alfred Otis Sutphin, 82, of Shawsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012. He was son to the late Arnold Lee and Julia Gibson Sutphin. He was also preceded in death by his son, David Neal Sutphin; sisters, Ozie Sutphin, Eva Sue Quesenberry, and Mozelle Day. Otis is survived by his wife, Jackie Sutphin; son, Ricky Sutphin (Janet); grandchildren, Brittany, Matthew, and Ashley Sutphin; sister, Mildred Necessary (Clyde); and special friends, J.D. and Paulette Lambert. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 4, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Michael D. Copeland officiating.
