Quesenberry, Bitley Blaine (B.B.)

Bitley Blaine (B.B.) Quesenberry, 82, of Christiansburg, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 24, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl; son, Bryan; parents, Fuston and Woodsby Ellen Marshall Quesenberry; siblings, Margaret-Ann, Daniel Lee, Victor, Merle, Johnny and Eva Winters. He is survived by his son, Gary Quesenberry and wife, Susan; brother, Vinton Quesenberry and wife, Helen; sisters, Effie Crowder, of Hillsville, Vera O’Dell, of Rockville, Md.; as well as several nieces and nephews. B.B. was a self-employed sheet metal worker and was a member of the Alleghany Church of Christ in Christiansburg. He had been a resident of English Meadows for the last five years. B.B. was also an Army veteran serving in part of the Korean War. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 27, 2012, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Vinton Quesenberry officiating. Interment with military rites will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. B.B. always loved Grundy Mountain Mission School, and the family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to it at 1760 Edgewater Drive, Grundy, VA 24614.
