James Martin (Jimmy) Bower, 81, of Hillsville, formerly of Floyd, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence D. and Sylvia Martin Bower. Jimmy is survived by his friends, Ethel Marie Alderman, Elmo Rush Alderman Jr., Cynthia Anders, Robert G. Alderman, and Mildred Marie Weddle. Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Richard Thomas officiating. Interment to follow in Jacksonville Cemetery.
