Dunford, Conrad Wetzel (Con)

Conrad Wetzel (Con) Dunford, 74, of Riner, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012, at the Hospice Home in High Point, N.C. Con was born to Thomas Jefferson and Della Frye Dunford of Wytheville, Va. He was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers. Con loved hunting and traveling. He is survived by his son, Thomas Andrew Dunford (Barbara), of Keller, Texas; daughter, Connie Sue Jernigan (William), of Randleman, N.C.; one granddaughter, Sheri Rink (John), of Conway, S.C.; four grandsons, Matthew Dunford (Brittany), of McKinney, Texas, Sean Cole (Candice), of Monroe, N.C., Daniel Dunford and Joshua Dunford, of Keller, Texas; one great-granddaughter, Rylee Cole; two brothers, Tommy Dunford of Salem, Bob Dunford, of Miami, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to nieces and nephew, Susan Duncan, Mike and Shirley Dunford, the staff at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center and the Hospice Home at High Point. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Hospice Home at High Point, 1803 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
