Gray, William Howard

William Howard Gray, 81, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Pulaski Community Hospital.

Born March 24, 1925 in Austinsville, (Loafer’s Rest Community) Virginia, he was the son of the late John Adam Gray and Sarah Sisk Gray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Homer, Warren, Marzelle and Arlie, and three sisters, Charlotte, Geneva and Mary.

He retired from Reynolds Metal International, Richmond as a design engineer. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served during World War II. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 235, Ivanhoe, Virginia.

Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Nona Whitaker Gray, Richmond; his cat”Little Bit”; several nieces and nephews.
