Barnett, Lillie Virginia Akers

Lillie Virginia Akers Barnett, 90, of Pulaski and formerly of Christiansburg, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2006.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Trigg Barnett. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne & Mitzi Barnett; daughters and sons-in-law, Thelma Barnett Harrison and husband, Asa; Linda Barnett Spivey and husband, David; Bessie “Tootie” Epperly and husband, Roy; grandchildren, A. Casey Harrison, Ellen S. Spivey, Kellie Harrison Huffman.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, January 28 at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 29 at the Cambria Baptist Church with Dr. Thomas Harvey and the Rev. Olen Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
