worrell troy garlandTroy Garland (Buck) Worrell, 65, of Christiansburg, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Belspring on April 12, 1946, to the late Elbert Lee and Josie Craighead Worrell. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his three daughters, Johnia Worrell, of Riner, Tracy Worrell, of Christiansburg, and Angela Worrell, of Draper; son, and daughter-in-law, Tony and Christie Worrell, of Shawsville; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and James Brown Sr., of Oliver Springs, Tenn., Martha and Danny Hall, of Christiansburg; two brothers, Peyton (Leroy) Worrell, of Christiansburg, Curtis Worrell and fiance, Ada Camper, of Blacksburg; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor George Freeman and Ricky Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg.
