Nunn, Gary Thomas

Gary Thomas Nunn, 63, of Charlotte, N.C. died early Saturday morning, Feb. 18, 2012, in the Carolina Medical Center- Mercy, Charlotte, N.C. He was born in Pulaski Aug. 12, 1948 and was the son of the late Thomas Taylor Nunn and Mary Edith Lovern Hoffman. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, where he served as a private in the United States Army. Surviving are his wife, Janice G. Nunn of Charlotte, N.C.; daughters, Deah Roby of Gastonia, N.C. and Audra Wriston of Mt. Holly, N.C.; son, Stephen Nunn of Charlotte, N.C., and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. from Stevens Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, with the Rev. Cheri Stowers officiating. Burial will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin. Visiting will be Thursday from the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the service hour.
