Wilson, Maxine Saunders Ellison

Mrs. Maxine Saunders Ellison Wilson, 82, of Franklin, Tenn., died February 17, 2012. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Edward M. Ellison; half-sister, Vera Saul; parents, Lawrence and Maggie Harris Saunders. She is survived by loving husband, Claude Wilson, of Franklin, Tenn.; son, Edward M. (Mark Giberson) Ellison Jr., M.D., of South Pasandena, Calif.; daughter, Jacquelin (Michael) Stewart, of Franklin, Tenn.; stepdaughter, Elizabeth (David) Sampson, of Kingsport, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jeffrey Stewart, Lindsey (Connor) Ball, Matt Giberson and Grace Giberson; great-grandchildren, Ellison Ball and Elic Ball; stepgrandson, Jonathon Sampson; stepgreat-grandson, Connor Sampson; and many other loving relatives. Funeral Services will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2012, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Funeral services will also be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Blacksburg United Methodist Church in Blacksburg, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Caris Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association .
