Borny, Helen B.

Helen B. Borny, 86, of Blacksburg, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on October 18, 1925. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Joseph Borny; and a brother, Edward Manel. She is survived by her sons, Ted Borny and wife, Lori, Blacksburg, Chuck Borny and wife, Evelyn, Turnersville, N.J.; five grandchildren, Teddy, Tim, Matthew, Charlie, and Kelly Borny; sister, Irene Guile; and two brothers, Stan Manel and Richie Manel. A Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with Father remi Sojka and Elder Mike Ellerbrock officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary’s Memorial Fund, 1205 Old Mill Road, Blacksburg, VA 24060. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
