Whitlock, Raymond Willard

Raymond Willard Whitlock, 85, of Christiansburg, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012. He was best known as a contractor and painter in the New River Valley.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 67 years, Margaret Harrison Whitlock; daughter, Linda Whitlock; sons, Hershel Whitlock, Timmy Whitlock; sister, Faye Gunner; brothers, Daniel Whitlock, Joseph Whitlock; grandchildren, Davie Whitlock, Derrick Whitlock, Darren Whitlock, Jason Whitlock, Christy Toney, Scotty Whitlock, Ashley Whitlock; ten great- grandchildren; and one great- great-grandchild.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday January 18, 2012 at DeVilbiss Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Poston officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Burial Park, Radford. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday January 17, 2012 at the funeral home.
