Fields, General McArthur

General McArthur (Mack) Fields, 68, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Mr. Fields was predeceased by parents, Manuel Clifford and Myrtle Venie Rose Fields; one brother-in-law, Allen R. “Buddy” Kissinger; and two nephews.

Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Kyle J. Fields, of Salem; sister, Evelyn M. Kissinger, of Christiansburg; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2012, from 3 to 4 p.m. at the home of Evelyn Kissinger, 170 Almetta Ave., Christiansburg.
