Davis, Roxie Ellen Lane

Roxie Ellen Lane Davis, 100, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away on Friday, January 6, 2012, at Richfield Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Edward Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Mammie Hall and husband, Elmer; son, Gary M. Davis and Becky Schmidt; two grandsons, Daniel and David Hall; a sister-in-law, Opal Davis; countless nieces and nephews; special friends, Margaret Woolwine and Betty Alley; and many other special friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Richfield Recovery & Care Center for their care of Roxie. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 8, 2012, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2012, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ed Watkins officiating.
