Walters, Pamela Maureen

Pamela Maureen Walters, 77, of Christiansburg, loving and dear wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with her savior, Friday, December 30, 2011, at Lewis-Gale Montgomery Hospital. She was born in Kings Lynn, England on June 24, 1934 to the late Leslie Alfred John and Ethel Agnes Twill Langley. She was a member of North Fork Baptist Church, and retired from Poly-Scientific with 18 years of service. She loved doing her knitting and crocheting. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Harold L. Walters, of Christiansburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lesley W. and Gary Parker, of Charlotte, N.C., Sharon W. and Tim Cline, of Riner; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert L. and Jacquelyn Walters, of Staunton, and Keith A. and Heather Walters, of Christiansburg; two sisters, Milicent Nobbs of Kings Lynn, England, and Hilda Egan of Tucson, Ariz.; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Margaret Langley of Kings Lynn, England; five grandchildren, Lloyd and his wife Garland Parker, Garrett Parker, Mitchell Walters, Mary Cummings, and Lee Cummings, and numerous nieces; nephews; and friends; as well as a special best friend, Fay Walters. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the North Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Brugger officiating. Interment will follow in the North Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call anytime after noon Monday, and the family will received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg, VA 24060.
