John Joseph Robinson, age 66, of Blacksburg, died, Saturday, December 10, 2011, at his home. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 9, 1945 to the late George and Marie Predunce Robinson. He is survived by his, wife, Dorothy Lea Robinson, Blacksburg, daughter, Victoria Waters, of Winchester, son, John J. Robinson, Jr., of Richmond, 3 step sons, Robert Crook, Sr., West Virginia, Ronald Crook, Baltimore, Md., Ronald D. and Tabatha Arbaugh, Giles Co., sisters, Doris Robinson, and Audrey Robinson, brother, George Robinson, all of Baltimore, Md. 2 grandsons, Tieler J. Robinson and Robert Lee Crook, Jr., 4 step-grandchildren, Britany Bates, Ericka Arbaugh, Erick Arbaugh, and Kayla Arbaugh. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 12, 2011 at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Shepherd and Rev. Jube Burke officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. Friends may call anytime after 12:00 noon Sunday, and the family will recieve friends from 6-8 pm Sunday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
