Cox, Richard Eugene
Richard Eugene Cox, known to many as Rick or Ricky, age 48, of Moneta, and formerly of Pulaski, died at Roanoke Memorial Hospital December 12th 2011. He was born December 12th 1963. He graduated Pulaski County High School in 1982 and went to college to study Architect design at New River Community College. He was survived by his two loving, beautiful daughters from his former marriage, Jessica C. McNulty and his son in law Thomas R. McNulty, of Smith Mountain Lake. Trista N. Cox of Roanoke, and his three grandchildren Preston, Ayden, and Conlan McNulty. His sister Kimberly Andrews and his two nephews Shane Lawson, and Tanner Lawson of Pulaski. His two brothers, Lee Cox of VA, and Dennis Cox of Pulaski, and his Stepfather, Ernest Andrews of Pulaski. He is preceded in death by both his parents Lee Aubrey Cox, and Mary Elizabeth Nixon Andrews, and many nieces and nephews. He is also preceded in death by his brother Brian Cox and his grand daughter Annabella McNulty. Richard was an amazing person who had a big heart and would do anything for anyone. He had a great sense of humor and had one of the best singing voices you could’ve heard. He was loved by many people and had some very special friends. The funeral services will take place at 5:00pm on Saturday December 17th 2011 at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Carson Linkous Officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
