Davis, Carol Linkous

Carol Linkous Davis, 68, of Shawsville, died on Sunday, October 30, 2011, at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. She was born in Christiansburg on September 4, 1943, to the late Trigg Lee and Gilbie Lovern Linkous. She is survived by her companion, Elton (Honk) Davis, of Shawsville; two sisters, Patty Linkous and Debbie Boothe, both of Elliston; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Estelle Linkous, of Elliston, Jackie Linkous, of Elliston, and Jerry and Pat Linkous, of Andersonville, Tenn.; special niece and nephew, Ann and Bud Merrill, of Floyd, Va.; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and her two loving dogs, Lilly and Sweet Pea.
