Wells, James Duvall

James Duvall Wells, 84, of Elliston, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011. He was predeceased by his parents, Ed and Virgie Wells; sisters, Pauline Roberts, Eleanor Young and Mary Crawford; and brothers, Erskine Wells and David Wells. He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Betty Jo Wells and Bobby and Betty Lou Wells; sister-in-law, Pauline Wells; sisters, Dorothy Oliver, Marie Caldwell and Edna Worrell, all of Elliston; brothers-in-law, Noblin Roberts, of Christiansburg, and James Young, of Floyd; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Shaffer officiating.
