Poff, Barry W.

Barry W. Poff, 53, of Check, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martin and Dessie Phillips, and the Rev. Roy and Lottie Poff; and step father, Ralph Dalton. Barry was a proud employee of Salem Printing Company for 20 years, and worked as the Press Room Manager. His passion was golf and getting together with friends to play his guitar and enjoy good music. Barry was a devoted loving son. Left to cherish his memory are his father, Wayne Poff; mother, Muriel Dalton; aunt and uncle, Verna Mae and Dean Akers; several cousins; and many very special friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Cox officiating. Interment to follow in Greasy Creek Cemetery.
