Quesenberry, Victor Weddle

Victor Weddle Quesenberry, 83, of Willis, went to his Heavenly home on Monday, October 17, 2011. Victor was retired from VDOT as a supervisor. Following retirement he enjoyed spending his time in his woodshop. He spent much of his time in his garden, sharing its bounty with family and friends, as it was his joy. He was deacon at Topeco Church of the Brethren. He especially enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Virginia Quesenberry; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and David Pratt; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Samantha Quesenberry; grandchildren, Andrea and Binder Elzowry, Joshua and Brandi Pratt, Taylor Quesenberry, and Asher Quesenberry; five great- grandchildren; numerous cousins; and many, many friends. Dad never knew a stranger. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 20, 2011, at Topeco Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Mike Varner officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at the church.
