McMahan, Timothy Bryan

Timothy Bryan McMahan, 54, of Pembroke and Blacksburg, died on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at his home after an extended illness. A free spirit since his youth he delighted in the joys of the creeks, the forest, his animal friends, and enjoyed being with his friends. He was a son of the late Walter and Elva Britts McMahan. He is survived by his brothers and sisters- in-law, Terry and Lois McMahan, of Daleville, and Steve and Cathy Taylor McMahan, of Blacksburg; his niece, Brooke McMahan, of Richmond; and his nephew, Brett McMahan, of Sterling. Funeral services will be private and the family suggests that memorials be made in Tim’s memory to The Humane Society. The Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
