Michael Mabry Jr., 30, of Christiansburg, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011. He was born in Blacksburg on July 22, 1981. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Maude Jones, two aunts, two uncles, stepgrandfather, Grover Bain. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Gale and Larry Gibson, of Christiansburg; father and stepmother, Mike and Kathy Mabry, of Narrows; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carla and Don Reed, of Christiansburg, Angie and Bobby Crowl, of Pilot; step sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Henry Brooks; maternal grandfather, Jackson Jones, of Christiansburg; paternal grandmother, Joyce Bain, of Dublin; paternal grandfather, Otis Mabry, of Radford; grandparents, Herbert and Laura Gibson, of Fairlawn, Frances Havens, of Narrows; fiance, Shannon Jarels; aunts, Emma Womack, Ruth Robinson, Brenda Cox, Barbara Gilmer, Debbie Garner; uncle, Bobby Early; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 10, 2011, at 11 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ernest Fulcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Christiansburg. In lieu of flowers, the family requests to make donations to McCoy Funeral Home to help with services. The family will receive friends, Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg.
